The Monkey and The Crocodile

Once upon a time, a clever monkey lived in a tree that have very juicy fruit, red rose apples. The monkey was very happy. One day, a crocodile swam up to that tree and he met that monkey. The crocodile saw the fruit and interested to ate some fruit. He told the monkey that he had traveled a long distance and was in search of food as he was very hungry. The kind monkey offered him a few rose apples. The crocodile enjoyed the fruit very much and asked the monkey whether he could come again on the next day for some more fruits. The generous monkey agreed.

On the next day, the crocodile came again and ask him for some fruits. And the next day, and the next day, and so on. Soon the monkey and the crocodile became very good friends. The crocodile told the monkey that he had a wife and that they lived on the other side of the river. So the kind monkey offered him some extra rose apples to take home to his wife. The crocodile’s wife loved the rose apples and made her husband promise to get her some every day.

The monkey and the crocodile became a best friends. The crocodile’s wife started getting jealous. She wanted to put an end to this friendship. The crocodile’s wife thought to herself that if the monkey lived on a diet of rose monkeys, his flesh would be very sweet

The crocodile's wife make a plan. she pretended to be very ill and told the crocodile that the doctor said that she would only recover if she ate a monkey’s heart. If her husband wanted to save her life, he must bring her his friend’s heart. Because he very love his wife, he come to monkey.

The crocodile said,"My wife and me would like to invited you to eat together at our home. Just get on my back, and I will take you to our home.". The monkey agreed, and got on crocodile's back. In the middle of the river, the crocodile tried to kill the monkey. Soon, the monkey asked,"What's wrong with you? Why you want to kill me?" The crocodile told that his wife was ill, and only monkey's heart could save her life.

The monkey then thought for a moment, and said to the crocodile that he left his heart on the tree. Then, the crocodile took the monkey back to the tree. After got off from crocodile's back, he ran onto the tree and screamed to the crocodile that the crocodile's wife is a liar and want to end up their friendship. After that, the crocodile realized that and their friendship is over.
